ANTIQUE CORKSCREW COLLECTION
“The bottle screw, whose worth, whose use, all men confess that love the juice.”
This corkscrew collection was started over 30 years ago. The late owner had catalogued his collection and had put the above quote by Nicholas Amhurst (London 1732) on the cover of his paperwork. He referred to it as the oldest known poetic reference to a corkscrew. He enjoyed this collection and we hope you do too.
